TRANS-AFRICA
WELCOME TO AN EPIC ADVENTURE
I am working with well-know film-maker and 4x4 guru Andrew St Pierre White to create a travel adventure TV documentary of my journey through Africa. I will be riding my bicycle and Andrew will be traveling by 4x4. As he will be going a just tad faster than me, we will film our journeys separately. When it's all done, Andrew will put the two stories together into an action-packed reality show of grit, pain and sweat set against a backdrop of incredible landscapes and fascinating people.
OUR PLAN
We are setting off from Cape Agulhas, the southern tip Africa, and will end at John 'o Groats, the northern tip of Scotland.
WHY THIS MADNESS?
1. I have a dream to ride a bike through Africa.
2. To support endangered rhinos. Andrew and I have teamed up with Rhinoseday, a charity raising awareness and money for rhino conservation.
3. To make a 26×24-miniute TV series.
